Peabody Opera – Live On The Scene

After more than a year of learning and performing almost exclusively in a virtual format, Peabody Voice students are thrilled to be stepping back onto the stage to sing for a live audience.  Peabody Opera Theatre is proud to present a selection of highlights from their spring season. The program will include excerpts from the contemporary operatic genre, classic favorites from the world of musical theater, and a sneak peek at a newly commissioned jazz adaptation of Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel. Peabody students will showcase the versatility and progression of their craft alongside musical and historical insights into the repertoire shared by them and music director Laurie Rogers. The singers will be accompanied by fellow Peabody piano students.
