After a redesign of its modern and contemporary galleries, the Smithsonian American Art Museum launched a dynamic reinstallation of its modern and contemporary collection in late 2023. Sarah Newman, the James Dicke Curator of Contemporary Art and Deputy Head Curator at SAAM will discuss this fresh look at the museum's collection, as well as highlight exciting recent acquisitions now on view.
